Reflection question

1. I learn to play new song in a music instrument, I learn about independent, team work and more things, so this are the things that I have learnt in the creative cycle, so I learn a new song in the kolintang, learning tambourine, and teamwork so we really need teamwork so we could make our performance better and we could make our performance will look more better.
2. In PVA music instrument we are doing a performance, I think that our performance is already good but we could make it better again by we could practice more for making this performance look better, we have also some errors in our performance like some of our voice are to low like the backup singer in the thriller the voice are very low so people could not hear some of our voice, when we are doing the thriller song we are doing has more errors like the kolintang it was not loud enough because we don’t have much people playing in the Kolintang, because we don’t have much time to practice in the thriller song, but for the over all performance it was already good.
3. In this music class I have improve my skill at music I learn a new musical instrument with song that I haven’t learn before, I learn how to play a kolintang with a song of superstition that I never play before so I improved my skill in the kolintang instrument, and in this PVA class I also improve my team work so in this PVA class we need to do performance that we need to do this work together as a class so I has improved my team work skill so that I can work together as a class to make the performance.
4. I feel that what I have been good at the PVA class is when in the performance I was doing the tambourine I has practice to do the tambourine so I can play it well in the performance and by I’m practicing I can play the tambourine well even to play tambourine is easy but is hard for me to follow the beat of the song at first but by practicing I could follow the beat of the song with playing the tambourine.
5. I need to improve playing kolintang, when I was playing kolintang somehow I still forgot the note of the song so I still did some wrong note, and also I need to improved my confidence when I was performing  I need to be more confidence especially when I was singing I was very not confident that makes me not singing with confidence and that makes the note of the song that I should sing is not right and that makes the song that we sing doesn’t look good.
6.  For me what should the performance need to be improved for our performance is we as a class need to be more confident so we could make our performance look well so if we are doing the performance with confident we could make our performance look more better.
7. Everyone has done their best work for our performance, they have practice with their hard work for making the performance look good but the things that we need to improved more in our confidence because by confidence we could make our performance look good so if we do things with confidence we will look more better even for me our performance already good enough.
8. The choice of the topic is very effective because we are doing things that we could learn things together and also by this topic we could learn new instrument to play with a new song, and things like that.
9. The choice of the instrument was really good because in our class we have people that could play music instrument so we could divide jobs for doing our performance.
10. If I would choose what instrument I would play for our perform again I would like to do tambourine because for me tambourine is really fun even it was easy but it’s not that easy because tambourine need to be focus to the beat so it will look good
11.  For the singer doesn’t really sound together and they don’t really sing loud but some people are singing with loud voice maybe some people not confident and that makes they don’t sound really loud.
12. the part i like in the performance is when we are doing superstition because even the audience like the performance and the performer really enjoying doing the performance so that's why i really like doing the superstition song.
13. for me the part that i could hear is when it we are doing Hey jude and superstition i could hear people singing and doing instrument but in thriller i couldn't hear much.
14. for me i learn teamwork by this creative cycle because in this creative cycle we need to do teamwork really much because we need to do performance that we need to do that together.
15. i really enjoyed this class it was very fun in this class i also like when we are practicing for our performance because people enjoying what they are doing in the performance.
16. for me the difficulties is when we are doing the brainstorming because it was really hard to do some decision.
17. i think i would change the topic of the performance and add some instrument more in the performance.
18. i will miss ibu Megan very much :) 

Evaluation (Reflection on the performance)

so this is the last part of the design cycle that is the evaluation, this are the part where we are reflecting our performance that we have done in the 4th of december, 2014 on thursday in my opinion our over all performance has been practice with all our hard with all our collaborative when we practicing for making this performance look well in the D - Day of our performance that we are performing for Year 8 students, even our performance doesn't run very well especially for the thriller song because we doesn't have much time to practice and things else for the performance but for the song of Hey jude and superstition we have practice this song for long time so we already learn for the cord for the instrument and have learn the lyric for the singer and the harmonies for the song of the Hey jude. for me the performance we have did is already well but we just need more times for practicing the song so we can get the song really well so we could perform our performance well, but for over all i like our performance is already good some of my friend said it was good. 

Create

so this are the part where we are starting to practice the song for the performance and things so after we have chosen the song that we are going to use for our performance we are starting to practice the song that we use for our performance is first Hey Jude by The Beatles, second song is superstition by Stevie Wonder, and the last one is thriller by Michael Jackson, after we chose this song we are dividing into two group at first so some are in the superstition and the other in the Hey Jude so we keep on practicing  the song by the progress of practicing the song we always make progress in every practice then for the thriller we don't have really much time for practicing it because we decide for using thriller in our performance also is 3 or 2 weeks before our performance so we didn't have much time for practicing the song.

Plan

So this are the second step of the design cycle in this Plan we are brainstorming about what we are going to do in the live music band, what we will do with the song, and things like that so here we all give some suggestion of what we are going to do with the live band music band  after we know about that we need to vote for the song what our teacher (Ibu. Megan) told us to do is we need to close our eyes then if we chose that song we raise our hand then we are finding for the singer, instrument, and things that we need to do the performance some of us maybe doesn't really comfortable in singing or confused for doing the instrument so we are suggesting them to do kolintang, so this are the things that we are doing in our plan.

Investigation

So in our design cycle class we have 4 thing to do that is investigation, plan, design, create, and the last one is evaluate so this reflection are going to be the investigation, investigation is a part where we are brainstorming about idea that going to be use for what we are going to do we do this Investigation in many week, after we brainstorming the idea then we vote that we are going to do a live band music in front of year 8 student, we just need to find a good song for the performance so to do this research we are divided into some groups that finding different music that we can use for the performance, after we find out the song by each group we are ask to present it to our classmate then after all group has present we are deciding to chose the song.

About my group presentation (tributes)

so in this group we are discussing about Tributes, Tribute are a song that is really famous but the singer who has make this song has "Dead" when we are making our presentation before we make the presentation our group must chose 3 song each person so we can combined all the songs that we have chose then we vote for 2 song that are going to be discuss in our presentation about the Tribute,  The songs are "Somebody To Love" by QUEEN and "You Are Not Alone" by Michael Jackson. so this are the two songs that we have chosen by our voting in the progression of making the presentation, after that we make the Presentation about what is Tributes and give the explanation about the song that we have chosen. The Idea that came up for what we are going to do with the song is Somebody to love is one of the songs that QUEEN performed and won lot s of awards, this have a slow and very nice rhythm. We suggested or came up with the idea of performing like how Glee performed it and modify it a bit, and for The second one is "You Are Not Alone" by Michael Jackson. We can make a short (musical) drama so this are the information that we are already making it for the Tribute Presentation.

UPDATE

So we already have a break of posting things, what we have do is we are discussing about our performance that we are going to do at 4 december, 2014 so our class has decide to do two songs at first and we already practice this song with our work so the first song we have chosen is Hey Jude by the Beatles in the 60's, so in the Hey Jude there will be 4 soloist, harmonies, and band so for the soloist we have: Najwa, Daleescha, Nadya, and also Farah, the rest of our class is doing the harmonies but there also some students doing the band like Phoebe: piano, Alysa:guitar, Mike: bass so this are some of the person in charge for the band in Hey Jude and the rest is doing the Harmonies, this are the first song we have chose for our performance, the second song that we have chosen for our performance is superstition by Stevie Wonder, 70's is almost the same as the Hey Jude like we have the Soloist and things but the different is we don't have any harmonies in the Superstition The soloist are: Dandy, Dom , The Instruments: Bass - Mike, Guitar - Amyra and Drum - George so this are our first 2 song chosen for our performance and then we discuss it again and we add another song that is the thriller by Michael jackson so in thriller we have 2 soloist that is: Farah and Dom and we have the instrument: Bass - Mike, Guitar - Amyra and Alysa and Drum - Georg and the rest of the class is doing the backup singer so this are the song that we have work hard for our performance in the 4 december 2014.
